Even faster towards fermentative RNA production

Our work on the fermentative production of RNA-based active ingredients is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The governmental grant complements a VC-backed RnD budget to further develop our platform-technology for production of RNA.

Our fermentative concept enables environmentally friendly production of high-quality RNA at low-cost and is easily scalable from gram to kilogram up to metric tons. In dedicated subprojects, we are focusing on both, production of RNA for pharmaceutical use (e.g. new vaccines against infectious diseases or cancer) and RNA for use as biopesticide.
